Please note:
Due to travel distance and the overall duration of the tour, guests may choose up to three destinations from the itinerary below. This is to ensure a comfortable and unhurried experience, as the tour includes a scenic lunch stop in Kintamani, which typically takes a considerable amount of time.
Tegalalang Rice Terraces
Our journey begins with a stop at the famous Tegalalang Rice Terraces, one of the most iconic landscapes in the Ubud region. Here, you will witness stunning terraced rice fields cascading down the valley, framed by lush greenery and coconut trees.
This area also offers a glimpse into traditional Balinese farming life, where local farmers continue to cultivate rice using the ancient subak irrigation system, a UNESCO-recognized heritage. The panoramic views make Tegalalang a favorite stop for visitors seeking natural beauty and cultural insight.
Mount Batur & Lake Batur Views – Kintamani
Continuing to the cool mountain region of Kintamani, we stop at a carefully selected accessible restaurant overlooking the majestic Mount Batur and Lake Batur. Enjoy lunch, tea, or coffee while taking in spectacular views of the active volcano and surrounding caldera.
Located around 1,500 meters above sea level, Kintamani offers a refreshing climate and dramatic scenery. While Mount Batur is well known for hiking activities, this tour focuses on relaxing viewpoints and scenic experiences, allowing you to enjoy the area comfortably without physical strain.
Kintamani and Batur village sit along the rim of a vast volcanic caldera formed by historic eruptions in 1917 and 1926. The region is also an important agricultural center, known for its fruit and vegetable farming in Bali’s cooler highlands.
Penglipuran Traditional Village
After Kintamani, we visit Penglipuran Village, a beautifully preserved traditional village in Bangli Regency. Known for its orderly layout and traditional architecture, Penglipuran reflects the Balinese philosophy of Tri Hita Karana—harmony between God, humanity, and nature.
Recognized internationally for its cleanliness and cultural preservation, Penglipuran has been awarded as one of the cleanest villages in the world. Walking through the village offers a peaceful atmosphere and a deeper understanding of traditional Balinese community life.
Coffee Plantation & Luwak Coffee Experience
The tour concludes with a visit to a local coffee plantation, where you can learn about traditional Balinese coffee production. Kintamani is one of Bali’s key coffee-growing regions, thanks to its fertile volcanic soil.
Here, you’ll have the opportunity to sample various local coffees and teas, including the famous Luwak Coffee, while enjoying the relaxed countryside setting. This stop provides a pleasant and informative ending to your Kintamani day tour.
